FNTG is the lead, local organization in pulling together this event. Since our founding in 2006, FNTG has raised more than $55,000 to help support trail acquisition, design, construction, and improvements in Northampton and surrounding communities.                    Whether you use the rail trails for commuting to work or school, or use them to navigate your way through town, we need your support. Trails and greenways provide recreation and transportation opportunities for area residents and tourists.

      How do your contributions help in furthering these and other future projects? They are especially valuable in supporting the engineering design work that needs to be done before submitting formal applications for grants. Also, as it is difficult to determine the precise cost of a project in advance, having a small amount of unrestricted funds available to cover overruns makes it possible to spend every penny of the grants received.
